If you're looking for genuine sea glass on the coast of Maine, the loveliest you'll find won't be on the beach. It's found lightly wrapped in gold or silver — one-of-a-kind and handcrafted in our studio on the island of Islesboro in Penobscot Bay.

Sea glass and beach stones are like snowflakes: no two are the same. Each is unique in size, shape, thickness, and light-reflection. As we work through the design process, we come to know each piece intimately. All of our beach stones and as much sea glass as we can find are collected from the beach of nearby Ryder Cove, on the eastern shore of the island. The rest of our sea glass comes only from other islands—Hawai'i, Puerto Rico, New Zealand, and Nova Scotia to name a few. Living with each piece for a while gives us time to explore its unique qualities, which we then show off to best advantage as we wrap each island treasure in precious metal wire.
